On 29 January 2025, the DOMANI consortium convened an in-person Steering Group and project coordination meeting at the Estonian University of Life Sciences in Tartu, Estonia. The face-to-face meeting brought together 26 participants from partner institutions to review the overall progress of the project, strengthen coordination among partners, and plan upcoming activities and deliverables.
Representing the university, Director of Administration Staff Dr. Gankhuyag Purev and Dean for Science and International Affairs Dr. Mend-Amgalan Puntsagnamjil participated in the meeting and contributed to discussions related to project management, governance, and future implementation activities.
The meeting focused on several important aspects of the DOMANI project, including project governance, quality assurance, dissemination activities, digital platform development, and budget and mobility planning. Partners also reviewed the results of surveys conducted on the demand and design of micro-credentials, which will support the development of future educational activities within the project.
During the discussions, the consortium approved the establishment of a Quality Assurance Team with representatives from all partner countries. It was also agreed that each participating university must appoint a dedicated Quality Assurance representative to ensure effective monitoring and reporting of project activities. In terms of dissemination, the consortium confirmed the use of the project website and social media channels, including Facebook and YouTube, to increase project visibility and outreach. Partners additionally agreed that dissemination reports should be submitted within seven days following each event.
Another important decision concerned the organisation of project events, where the consortium agreed to hold one international hackathon towards the end of the project period. The meeting also provided an opportunity for partners to align timelines, coordinate upcoming milestones, and discuss financial and mobility-related considerations to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
Overall, the meeting in Tartu strengthened collaboration among consortium members and provided clear direction for the next phase of the DOMANI project.
